Myself, Andrew and 30 of his friends made it out to the Black Rock Desert for the annual Burning Feng. We hit three passes during a blizzard and for a while thought we were going to get stuck in some seedy hotel in Alturas but we finally made it out to Trego at 130 am. It was wicked cold and windy and I ended up stuck in the car for a day with a fever and chills. The next day I recovered and we headed up to Disaster Peak, a 1400 foot ascent from the desert. We came down and burnt the best Fengus yet. Epicness ensued. It was a long trek but a wonderful one :)
